Researchers say cannabis could be used to prevent heart attack
The University of Colorado researchers say that they "would strongly suggest that [cannabis] use is associated with a significant decrease in in-hospital mortality” for individuals hospitalized after a heart attack

“Perhaps the most striking finding of our study is that [cannabis] use prior to AMI was associated with decreased in-hospital mortality post AMI,” explained the researchers.
