Judge reverses decision on cannabis distribution in Nevada
The decision which would allow other entities besides liquor distributors in Nevada to distribute social cannabis, was effectively reversed.
A Nevada judge on Friday sided with the Independent Alcohol Distributors of Nevada, who had the exclusive rights to deliver social cannabis to dispensaries for 18 months.
The ruling comes a day after the Nevada Department of Taxation decided on Thursday to open up the market in order to meet the demand of legal cannabis.
The judge said the alcohol distributors are owed their due process after they won rights from the November election ballot question approved by voters.
A hearing is set for Thursday
