Fancy a cannabis-infused cocktail? Visit one of these CBD bars in L.A.

It seems that cannabidiol, or CBD as it most commonly known, has emerged as a trend-setting ingredient among juice bars in Los Angeles. From three-course lunches to after-eight cocktails, the juice bars that sell CBD in LA are definitely stepping up to the mark.

You don’t have to get high to experience this medicinal cannabis compound’s effects, either. As a non-psychoactive constituent of the cannabis plant, your senses will be indulged without the mind-altering madness.

Here are a handful of the best L.A. CBD bars worth visiting during your time in the City of Angels:

Bluebird Brasserie

You will find this new Belgian brewpub in the Sherman Oaks area. The menu features a cannabis-inspired cocktail that contains the medicinal cannabinoid, CBD. Ask for a “Gentle Monk” when you arrive. This $16 canna-cocktail is a unique mish-mash of the Vesper martini and the sour.

Spring

Step foot inside Spring and request a few drops of CBD oil in any cocktail of your choice for an additional $5.

“This is a great way to enjoy an alcoholic beverage without the fear of future headache that often comes with enjoying cocktails. And the CBD elixir lowers the chance of waking up with a hangover,” says the assistant manager, Victor Moreno. “CBD also almost instantly improves your mood and increases an overall feeling of wellness without that sluggish feeling that can come with drinking.”

Pattern Bar

Tucked away in LA’s fashion district is this sophisticated bar. It was the first of its kind in the downtown area and is well known for its tantalizing selection of CBD-based cocktails and infusions, all of which are named after fashion designers.

“With one sip of the Armani ($18), our signature CBD cocktail, you will be captivated with its bursting flavors of Florentine elderflower liqueur, New Amsterdam gin, muddled lime, lemon, orange and mint. It’s like sunshine in a glass,” says the general manager, Eduardo Peres.

Guests can also pay $5 extra if they want to add CBD to a cocktail of their choice.

“We believe the benefits of CBD provide our Pattern Bar customers with a unique experience because it has been proven to help with numerous health elements including anxiety, pain, depression and inflammation,” says Peres.
