A new cannabis brand is being unleashed upon the market by none other than Lil Wayne. It is called GKUA and, according to the celebrity rapper, his premium recreational cannabis range promises “the best high of your life.”

The “Lollipop” singer is proud to present his fans with herb cultivated by the best growers. Featured in the GKUA range is a wide selection of THC-rich vapor pens, concentrated cannabis products, raw cannabis flower and pre-rolled joints.

“I used to just want to get high, now I smoke to get inspired,” Lil Wayne said during an interview with Forbes. “With GKUA, I’m sharing a feeling that I love.”

Lil Wayne’s cannabis brand GKUA offers diversity for consumers

Fans of Indica strains – a putative species of the genus Cannabis known for its sedating effects – will enjoy Lil Wayne’s cannabis brand. GKUA features an Indica-dominant “Hollygrove” strain; named after his home neighborhood of New Orleans. “Uproar” is another strain on offer in Lil Wayne’s cannabis brand selection; described as a “very limited strain.”

Customers can roll up some GKUA Ultra Premium Flower or exhale plumes of water vapor using the GKUA Ultra Premium vape oil, which can be added to the GKUA THC Vape; featuring organic inputs. The highly potent GKUA Ultra Premium Concentrates are ideal for mixing with flower for powerfully potent dabbing. Consumers who prefer to vape oils can do so with the GKUA Ultra Premium Battery Technology; featuring a ceramic heating element and unique design for controlled dosing.

Rapper plans to collaborate with fellow cannabis-loving celebrities

The top-selling hip-hop artist – who was discovered by Birdman at the tender age of 13 and signed to his first record label – has never been shy about his love for the herb. Many music videos and photo shoots depict the 37-year-old father of four smoking weed. Earlier this year, Lil Wayne was even kicked out of a hotel for enjoying too much of the green stuff!

In an attempt to magnify the presence of GKUA, he says that he may collaborate with other celebs. Examples of some celebrities in the music industry who have already launched their own cannabis brands include JAY Z, The Game, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.

Co-founder feels confident about what the rapper can bring to the table

A select number of dispensaries throughout Los Angeles will be selling GKUA Ultra Premium products, with more stores expected to begin stocking items by 2020. During a recent interview with Forbes, the co-founder of GKUA, Beau Golob, explained his reasons for wanting to team up with Lil Wayne.

“The combination of our incredible products, market knowledge and commitment to quality, paired with the unmatched fan base of Lil Wayne, the ultimate cannabis connoisseur, creates an unprecedented opportunity to create a cannabis brand that values creativity and the artistic pursuit,” said Golob.
